Danielle Marietta is originally from Seattle but has been living in the DC metro area for the last 18 years. While studying journalism at Howard University, she met her husband. And although Danielle has always enjoyed writing, she did not take it seriously until she spent hours on end reading to their three children. She writes for them.
Marissa Kearney is a former educator and award-winning creator known for her commitment to social activism, education, and the promotion of Black-owned businesses.
Her debut book, Truth Tales: The Air Fair-He, is a tribute to her kids and a love letter to her childhood in which she fell in love with storytelling.
