WHO & WHAT: A VIRTUAL EVENT w/ author and career development specialist Minda Harts, in discussion with licensed therapist, ordained minister, and sacred artist Dr. Thema Bryant-Davis about Minda's essential new book Right Withinguiding women of color to heal—and thrive—in the workplace.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 12, 2021 — 5pm PST (8pm EST)

WHERE & HOW: It's virtual! You will receive a private invite link via email within 24 hours of the event start (be sure to check your spam and email us if you have not received the link prior to the event start time). A recording of the conversation will be available for 48 hours only after the event.

Purchased tickets include a copy of Right Within (with signed bookplate while supplies last). Books are shipped within 3-5 days after the event. US and Canada Only.

Minda Harts is the CEO of The Memo LLC, a career development platform for women of color, a Professor of Public Service at NYU Wagner, and the author of The Memo. She has been featured on MSNBC's Morning Joe and Fast Company, and speaks at Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Levi's, and Google. In 2020 she was named a LinkedIn Top Voice, and in 2018, she was named one of 25 Emerging Innovators by American Express. She hosts the podcast “Secure the Seat,” and lives in New York City.

Dr. Thema Bryant-Davis is a licensed psychologist, ordained minister, and sacred artist who has worked nationally and globally to provide relief and empowerment to marginalized persons. Dr. Thema, a professor at Pepperdine University, is a past president of the Society for the Psychology of Women. Her contributions to psychological research, policy, and practice have been honored by national and regional psychological associations. Dr. Thema earned her doctorate from Duke University, completed her post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical Center, and is a past American Psychological Association representative to the United Nations.She has served as a mental health media consultant for numerous print, radio, and television media outlets, including but not limited to the Huffington Post, NPR, CBS, Oxygen, CNN, BET, TV One, Lifetime, and We TV.
